WHAT IS THE INTEGRATED ADVERTISING SPECIALIZATION?

What do Coca-Cola, Apple, Disney, Mercedes-Benz, and Facebook all have in common? They have incredibly strong brands that are instantly recognizable throughout the world. Brand promotion through effective advertising is one of the most fundamental methods of increasing brand awareness, creating customer loyalty and boosting sales. This specialization will teach you the methods of effective brand promotion through strategic advertising.

Students will learn the fundamentals of visual form, color theories and basic design principles in classroom projects. They will also study many different types of successful and unsuccessful advertising campaigns throughout history, and will plan, research and implement an advertising campaign from scratch that will encompass different media, reach a specific audience and make an impact. Guest speakers from the advertising field will provide insight into current best practices and portfolios will be developed to enable students to showcase their work.
