Dining Services
Dining well is a huge part of living well. Champlain offers several places to eat on campus to cater to every student's personal tastes and cravings.
Dining Hall
The Dining Hall in the newly built Student Life Center has been pleasing many palates since it opened in August 2004. With spectacular views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks, it makes for a great place to hang out with friends over pizza, paninis or spicy chicken Tandoori from the international menu. The six food stations provide choices for every taste and diet at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Save room for dessert. Choose soft and hard ice cream with your favorite toppings, an array of homemade cookies and brownies and freshly brewed Green Mountain Coffee Roasters coffee.
Jazzman's Café
For a change of pace and menu, stop in to Jazzman's Café. Sit for a while and soak in the beautiful lake views while you enjoy a cup of coffee or grab a sandwich to go. In addition to smoothies and iced and hot cappuccino and latte drinks, Champlain's student-run café offers a variety of sandwiches, paninis, soups, salads, cookies and pastries from the nearby kitchen-where creative students in our Hospitality Industry Management program develop and prepare the menu. Jazzman's Café is comfortable, relaxing and a great place to eat while working on a project with a classmate. You'll often see your professors getting their lunch or stopping to chat with students at the café tables.
