Robyn Estabrook is a 2010 Champlain graduate who majored in Mass Communications. Robyn had a great experience at Champlain College and likes that she was able to take classes that pertain to her major right from the beginning. Not only did she take public relations, journalism and media-related classes but she also interned at WCAX-TV, Brandthropology and Hall Communications. While at Champlain she also had the opportunity to study abroad in Spain and work as a Student Ambassador in the Admission Office. Robyn enjoyed her time at Champlain and hopes to pursue a career in broadcast journalism or public relations.

This is a piece that Robyn did for her final project in Writing for Public Relations. She had to make a media kit for a local business or organization. A media kit includes a press release, fact sheet, pitch letter, brochure, newsletter and company bios. The organization that she chose to do was Vermont CARES; they focus on HIV/AIDS prevention and education.
