Our curriculum and the overall life experience on our campus in Burlington, Vermont, connect core academic strengths and hands-on professional education with the development of the leadership skills you’ll need to be successful over your entire life.

Major is the professional education that allows you to follow your passion. Starting in your first semester and continuing through your final term, studies in, and internships relating to, your major will thoroughly prepare you for the world of the future. Specializations, minors and co-curricular activities allow you to tailor your educational experience to your specific career goals.

The Core is your cultural education. Core classes will give you a strong foundation in history, philosophy, literature and other subjects upon which to build your perspective on and understanding of the world we live in.

The Life Experience & Action Dimension (LEAD) is your life management education. Learn and apply many of the practical, financial, administrative and interpersonal skills you’ll need throughout your life as well as conceptual approaches to living that will help you create and enjoy a well managed, thoughtful and meaningful life.

At Champlain, you’ll become a well-educated thinker with superior communication skills. You’ll develop leadership skills that will serve you for a lifetime. Extensive internships in the beautiful city of Burlington—and beyond— take you out into the field. Our international programs take you out into the world.
