What to Expect at Your First Appointment

When you come to the CWC for the first time, you will be greeted by one of our consultants who will offer you something to drink and ask you to fill out a brief demographic questionnaire that asks pressing questions like "What course are you working on" and "What is your major?" 

The first few minutes of the conversation will usually be spent getting to know one another and talking briefly about what brought you to the CWC. This can range from big picture stuff like understanding the assignment and developing a thesis to smaller aspects of the paper like proofreading and grammar. You tell us what you'd like to work on and we'll do our best to have a good conversation about that very thing.
