Throughout my tenure at Champlain College I have continued to stay active in my field of Hospitality and successfully incorporated many experiences into my curriculum. The students have benefitted from this experiential learning and I continually look for opportunities to immerse them into the industry.
Some of the professional development and experiences that I have provided for them include:
- International Hotel and Restaurant Show in New York City
- International Tour Director for students, faculty and staff at Champlain College
- International Study-Tour Facilitator, set-up partner schools for student collaboration, presentations and observations. Partner schools to date include:

- Rennes Business School, Rennes France
- Cesar Ritz Hotel School, Le Bouveret, Switzerland

- Taught Hospitality courses at Champlain College's Tel Aviv Israel Campus
- Taught in Tech Connections Program at Barre Technical Center
- Hosted and presented Hospitality Industry information to a delegation from Armenia from the Vermont International Trade Association 2007
- Representative at the 2006 Winter Games Closing Ceremonies in Torino Italy
