Dare to Be: The Single Parents Program Changes Lives
Members of the Champlain Community gathered in October for our annual Single Parents Program Benefit Event. This year, the event turned virtual.
Although the format was different, the impact of this event to support Champlain College single parents was more important than ever. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated, making student experiences like the ones outlined in the below video possible.
If you haven’t had a chance to give to the Single Parents Program yet, please go here. Your gift helps us continue to give our single parents everything they need to thrive while at Champlain!
If you are interested in finding additional ways to support the Single Parents Program, please consider joining the Single Parent Program Benefit Committee. These dedicated volunteers will serve as mentors to our single parent students, in a new program we created this year. Members of this group help us plan events like the benefit dinner, and support many of the various initiatives within the Single Parents Program. Please reach out to Danielle Altenburg at daltenburg@champlain.edu if you’re interested in joining this group.
The Champlain community’s commitment to the success of the Single Parents Program is commendable. To read more about the success of the Single Parents Program and last year’s in-person Benefit Dinner, click here.
