Faculty Diversity Workshop

Lessons for EveryBody: Infusing Race and Ethnicity into our Work

A workshop facilitated by Susan Burch and Tara Affolter of Middlebury College

September 25th, 2013
Champlain College
Hauke Conference Room

Join Champlain colleagues and faculty colleagues from the University of Vermont as we explore how faculty in disparate disciplines can infuse diversity concepts, particularly related to race and ethnicity into their work, regardless of discipline. This work is even more important because our students are convinced that they live in a world where group identities no longer matter and do not understand the impact of systems and institutions.

The event is sponsored by the Center for Cultural Pluralism at the University of Vermont and Champlain College (Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Faculty Multicultural Committee).

The ODI is willing to arrange for diversity discussions for faculty who would like to attend the workshop without canceling class.

Dessert bar will be provided! Register Today
