Panel Discussion: Professionalism at Champlain College
This conversation will look at the concept of professionalism through an equity/diversity/inclusion lens.
The purpose of this panel discussion is to unpack what we mean when we say "professional" at Champlain College (both for our students and our faculty and staff colleagues) and to interrogate how this concept might, at times, come into tension with issues of equity, diversity and inclusion.

Guest Speaker: Ritu Sharma (https://www.iyfnet.org/people/ritu-sharma) & Student Panel
Ritu Sharma will speak about her work with international women's rights, gender based violence, and women's leadership, followed by Q&A and a student panel. The panel will consist of students who are international students themselves, have international experience, and/or do international work related to women's empowerment. We are excited to welcome Absa Samba, Lily Mason, and Sawyer Cawley Edwards on the panel moderated by Val Esposito, Director of the Environmental Studies & Policy Program and professor of the Women's Leadership Seminar course.
