Champlain Abroad offers Core courses with embedded travel components that have gone to several locations, spending one to two weeks abroad in a location relevant to the course. In the past, students have visited religious sites in India or the Warner Brothers Studios in the UK; every course studies different topics, concepts, ideas, and utilizes the travel component of the course to further the learning experience.

Since 2013, Champlain’s Robert P. Stiller School of Business has been the recipient of a prestigious grant from the Freeman Foundation, allowing Champlain students from any major within the Stiller School of Business to participate in a fully-funded summer internship in Shanghai, China.

Champlain also offers students the option to study abroad through pre-approved Third Party Providers. Past Champlain students who have found a program that meets both major and program requirements have studied in locations such as Argentina, Australia, Costa Rica, Italy, Spain, and Korea.
