Champlain College offers two different paths to a Master's degree in Emergent Media, both are full-time, on-campus programs. The Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) in Emergent Media, a terminal degree, is a two-year program. The Master's of Science (MS) in Emergent Media can be completed in two semesters (Fall and Spring) full-time (five courses each semester). MS in Emergent Media (one-year, on-campus program)

In this one-year, Masters of Science degree program — the first year of the MFA program — you'll acquire the skills and reflective leadership required to excel in careers producing and managing the collaborative processes of the next generation of media content. The Champlain College MakerLab is a prototyping facility equipped with state-of-the-art 3D printers, 3D scanner, laser cutter, vinyl cutter, Arduinos and traditional tools that allow rapid prototyping as students to explore invention and entrepreneurship.
