Biography

Originally from Rhode Island, Jes woke up one day and, apropos of nothing, decided she wanted to be a librarian. Jes joined the Champlain College Library team in 2017. As Technology Librarian, she is responsible for ensuring there is reliable access to the library's vast collections, both in print and online. She also delivers in-class information literacy sessions and provides research and reference support to the Champlain community. Previously, Jes was a Youth Services Librarian and worked in a variety of Technical Services roles in public libraries.  Jes has served as Inclusion Committee Chair of the Vermont Library Association and on the Vermont Golden Dome Book Award Reading Committee.
