Biography

Don Lewis has worked in various roles within the healthcare arena for 34 years.  He has been an acute care CEO for 23 of those years and an administrator of record for long term care for 15 years.  Don's MHA is from George Washington University.  His expertise includes financial management, customer/service excellence, information technology, quality management, turnaround management, marketing/public relations, human resources, strategic/operational planning, regulatory compliance, organizational development and fund raising and development.  He is board certified in health care administration and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Don currently works for the Universal Service Administrative Company overseeing a national rural healthcare broadband network access program that has projects in 42 states/territories and supports 6500 rural health care providers.  His leadership approach is one of mentor, coach and teacher.  Preparing today's leaders for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow's health care system is one of Mr. Lewis' passions.
