The best way to find out what it’s like to study Communication at Champlain is to hear from current students and alumni. Explore some of their stories and experiences below.
Beyond the classroom, students have countless avenues to explore their interests, connect with others, and dive headfirst into their field. Communication students can join the local chapters of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and Lambda Pi Eta (LPH), the official communication honor society of the National Communication Association. They can also gain valuable professional experience at Maple Street Media, a student-run PR firm.

No matter what title I hold—from public relations to marketing to event management and crisis communication— I’ve seen that there is no lack of demand for great communicators out there. Champlain’s Communication program opens doors by creating communicators who not only fit the needs of today but also prepares them to evolve as the world shifts.
