Internships In Computer Networking & Cybersecurity

Champlain cybersecurity students are highly sought after for internships and relevant jobs—local employers know that they're getting someone with great experience.

By the time you start applying for part-time jobs and internships, you will already have a firm grasp of the real-world work that needs to be done.

In the summer, students often get jobs in the field to gain more experience. Classroom discussions become a richer experience because students come back with their own knowledge and firsthand experience to integrate with the insights from faculty.

In addition to external internships, you can get hands-on experience in Champlain's Senator Patrick Leahy Center for Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity. In our fully equipped, state-of-the-art digital forensics and cybersecurity lab, students work with professional investigators and law enforcement officers on current investigations, security operations support for local nonprofits, and cybersecurity research projects.

This work experience—combined with your academic background from the Upside-Down Curriculum—gives you an advantage when you graduate and start your career. In addition to building an impressive résumé, many of these part-time jobs and internships turn into employment possibilities post-graduation.
