Our Upside-Down Curriculum allows you to get a head start on critical skills by starting your Data Science classes in your first semester. Employers love our students as interns because they already know how to do the real work that needs to be done and can hit the ground running—something that can be hard to find even among graduates from other institutions!

Learn Data Analytics Through Project-Based Classes

Students have explored how data analytics is applied in topics varying from social justice—such as analyzing whether prisoners from different races, genders, and ages get equal sentences for the same crimes—to public safety, in which students looked into car recall data and discovered patterns showing that car manufacturers were actually aware of some deadly problems but failed to report them.

With the variety of program electives available, you can customize your studies across a wide range of subjects to build your expertise in data science. To complement a rich skill set in data analytics, you may choose a minor to focus or enhance your education.
