Secondary (High School) Education Curriculum

Our Upside-Down Curriculum allows you to begin taking your Secondary (High School) Education classes in your first semester. Whether you choose an endorsement in Social Studies, Mathematics, or English Language Arts, you will already have taken courses related to your major and spent important time—over 30 hours—in a local classroom by the end of your first year. (At many institutions, you wouldn't reach that number until your senior year!)

Interested in studying abroad for a semester? Our Education faculty built the curriculum so you can take a semester studying abroad without getting behind on requirements for your major—we encourage you to expand your global experience in your third year.
