Our Professional Writing curriculum allows you to tailor your degree to the type of writing that you want to pursue professionally.
We have an extensive range of writing electives—the only downside is that you won't have time to take all of them. The good news: our Upside-Down Curriculum allows you to get a head start on the fun stuff by starting you in writing courses in your first semester. After your first year of exploring different fields and genres of writing, you'll declare a specialization.
In your very first class, we ask you, "Who are you as a person? Who are you as a writer?" Be ready to watch your answers change throughout your college career.
