Study Abroad — Early Childhood / Elementary Teacher Education

Want to see the world? Why wait?

Champlain makes it easy to embark on a life-changing semester (or two) in distant areas of the globe. All our majors are designed to accommodate a semester studying in a foreign country . With Champlain Abroad Dublin, Champlain Abroad Montreal , exchange programs, and third-party programs, the possibilities are nearly limitless for exploring unique landscapes and different cultures.

In addition to taking classes and living in a new place, studying abroad is an opportunity to confront your own assumptions, meet new people, embrace curiosity and gain a richer understanding of the world by truly realizing what it means to see from a global perspective. Our Office of International Education will work with you to ensure all credits transfer and fulfill requirements for your major. Plus, as you can see below, our Champlain Dublin and Montreal programs allow a seamless transition thanks to built-in curriculums for major-specific classes.

Champlain Abroad Dublin

Dublin is an active, energetic, capital city with a young population and a friendly town feel. Despite the relaxed atmosphere, Dublin is a hub for global corporations as well as small start-up companies. If you choose to spend a semester in Dublin, you'll live and study in a neighborhood with a great sense of community.

EHS Division students are encouraged to enroll in a rewarding international service learning course (EHS 300) that connects in-depth community involvement with academic learning through field placements.
