Educational Technology Specialization

The Educational Technology specialization is an optional part of the Secondary Teacher Education program. You'll learn how to integrate technology into the classroom as a tool for teaching and learning, and gain the skillset to become a leader in technology in the larger school environment.

The important skills you develop through the 15-credit Educational Technology specialization sequence of courses will give you a tremendous advantage in the marketplace when you begin your job search, setting you apart from other prospective teachers.

  • Design and develop your own field internship to learn about technology in an educational setting
  • Be on top of the cutting-edge of digital technologies
  • Focus your studies on web development, game design, graphic design, audio/visual and computer system
