Social Work Major Admission

Admission to the Social Work Program at Champlain

Champlain's Upside-Down Curriculum gets students into field-relevant classes on day one. This allows students to explore interests by getting a clear idea of the work involved in a particular area of study. We believe this is especially critical when it comes to our academically—and emotionally—rigorous Social Work major, where you will have a lasting effect on people's lives.

Formal admission into the Social Work Program occurs during your spring semester at the college, after you have taken your first social work classes and have determined that this is the right path for you. You'll write a Social Work Admissions Letter of Commitment and continue your studies in this rewarding and life-changing field.

We encourage you to get started on your application to this program today.
