Admitted Student Weekend

Admitted Student Weekend 2024

This event has passed. If you are interested in visiting Champlain, please sign up for one of our Summer Open Houses.

You put in the work, you put in the hours, and now that you're in, get ready to see what your life as a Champlain student will look like. It's time to cash in your ticket to your future.

This is your chance to ask the questions you need answers to, experience the campus in full-swing, meet new friends, and envision yourself here as a college student. Throughout Saturday's events, students will get a closer look at their majors and student life, while parents and families will learn about career success and family resources at Champlain, before all coming back together at the Information Fair.

You and the whole family are invited to join us Friday night for an evening of fun before the Admitted Student Day activities, but you're welcome to come just for Saturday, too.

This event is for students who were admitted to Champlain College for the Fall 2024 semester.

Welcome, Welcome!

Today's the day! We're kicking things off with a welcome speech from President Hernandez, student speakers, and the chance to meet other members of our Admissions team and Champlain staff.

You'll park at our Lakeside Campus before hopping on a shuttle to the famous Flynn Theater in downtown Burlington. Once you arrive, we'll have breakfast, music, trivia, games, and more to get your morning started right. From there, we'll send you and your family off to the next stop on your fun-filled day!

Academic Presentations & Meet Future Classmates

Learn all about the different aspects of our career-focused education that make Champlain graduates so sought after in the job market. Discover the ins and outs of your major, classes, opportunities, and more from faculty and current students.

One of the best parts of Admitted Student events is the opportunity to meet fellow admitted students—maybe even find your future roommate! During your academic presentation, you'll start to get to know the other students in your major. Depending on your major of interest, you will participate in an interactive activity ranging from technical showcases, to game playtesting, to faculty-made escape rooms, and more.

Plus, there will be plenty of Student Leaders on hand to answer any questions about what it's really like to be a student at Champlain.

Tour Campus and Residence Halls

See all the nooks and crannies of the place you'll call home! Take a tour of our beautiful hillside campus and explore our academic buildings, library, and more—including our dining hall and its out-of-this-world view!

We'll also have a special residence hall tour available, so you can get a closer look at the Victorian-era mansions where first-year students live (every room is unique and different!), as well as our contemporary housing for upper-year students.

Admitted Student Day is awesome. It's great. It provides a lot of information. Champlain is my daughter's first choice. We came here for a tour and she fell in love with everything. Burlington is a great city for her—and for us to visit. Last night she said, "Everything is perfect here for me. Everyone is so nice and kind."
