Admitted Student Expectations
Congratulations on your admission to Champlain and to our community. While the hard part of getting that acceptance letter is now over, you’re not quite done yet. Here are some things to keep in mind before we see you on campus:
Submitting Your Deposit
When you submit your enrollment deposit with Champlain, you are claiming your place in the incoming class of fall 2020 If you change your mind and decide to attend another school, please let us know immediately by submitting an email to email@example.com. Deposits are non-refundable after May 1.
Your offer of admission was made with the expectation you would continue to act in good faith academically while you complete your current courses. Any occurrence of academic dishonesty including but not limited to plagiarism, cheating, or other academic infractions may result in the revocation of your offer of admission.
Your grades post-admission should be consistent with those that you submitted with your application. Upon graduation from high school—or upon term completion for transfer students—we will evaluate your final grades/scores. Should your grades reflect a significant drop in performance at any time before your arrival to campus, we can reconsider your offer of admission. We expect to receive your final high school transcript with proof of graduation—or most recent term of courses for transfer students —before you arrive to campus as your admission is conditional until we do so.
We expect that you will continue to be a positive contributor to your current communities wherever you find them (in person or online). Any questionable student conduct or negative impact on such community could result in an Admissions review of your offer. We expect all students admitted to and enrolled at Champlain College to comply with our Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to rescind an offer of admission at any time if we determine that an admitted or deposited student has or will violate this Code.
