Systems Administrator

Chapin Bryce Chapin Bryce is a sophomore from Cambridge, Vermont majoring in Computer and Digital Forensics at Champlain College. Chapin works as the System Administrator at Senator Patrick Leahy Center for Digital Investigation (LCDI) where he is involved in managing the network and all of the computer systems within. Along with the System Administrator position, Chapin also is working on several projects including web design for the VT ICAC website, case work and TASC TAPEWORM project.

This is Chapin's second year at the LCDI, though he has worked as a freelance web designer and disc jockey for the past six years. He has also worked as a lifeguard and camp counselor at Smugglers Notch Resort. Chapin became interested in Computer and Digital forensics at Champlain College while on a tour of the open house and seeing senior capstone projects. He was interested by the new advancements being made in the field and the well-designed courses offered by Champlain College.

Currently at Champlain College, Chapin is involved in the Digital Forensics Association, the Ski and Ride Program, and is a Peer Advisor for first year students. Chapin enjoys working on data recovery and investigation jobs and expanding his skills through projects offered by the LCDI. After Champlain College, Chapin wishes to join the work force within a government agency where he can continue to gain experience and eventually pursue a master's degree in forensics or education.
