Julie Desautels

Digital Forensics Research Assistant

Julie Desautels is a Sophomore from Smithtown, New York majoring in Computer and Digital Forensics at Champlain College. Julie works as a Student Worker at LCDI where she is involved in research. Currently Julie is working on a master image project and TAPEWORM validation.

Julie worked at American Roadside and The Wine Guy before college. She picked Champlain College because it had the best program for Digital Forensics and she chose this major because she believes computers are the future to solving crimes.

Julie has her ACE certification and she wants to do more work with understanding forensic tools.

After Champlain, she would like to do forensic accounting.
