ANNUAL STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE WAIVERS AVAILABLE: 6/1/17 - DUE: 7/27/17
If you are covered by a health insurance plan, you may waive the College's student health plan by completing an online waiver form each year before the payment jis due. The waiver opens June 1, 2017 and is due July 27, 2017. You will be billed $909/semester if a waiver is not completed. To waive coverage, go to champlain.edu/webadvisor and login. Choose the “Student” menu. Under “Student Accounts,” select “FT Decline Health Ins.” Click blue “waiver” tab to decline. Enter all insurance information, complete electronic signature and SUBMIT. You will receive an email confirming that the health insurance fee will be waived. Students who wish to accept and pay for the student health insurance and stop email reminders of the waiver deadline should email studentaccounts@champlain.edu
TUITION & RELATED FEES AVAILABLE: 6/27/17 - DUE: 7/27/17
An online billing statement is posted each semester. You will receive an email notification to your MyMail account when your billing statement has posted. Fall semester payment is due July 27, 2017 and Spring semseter payment is due November 27, 2017. Review your statement to avoid late-payment fees and ensure your ability to register for the next semester. To review your bill, go to champlain.edu/webadvisor and log in. Choose the “Students” menu. Under “Student Accounts,” choose “Student Statement & Payment.” View eStatement on TouchNet. Also, you can add an alternate email address so that you receive a reminder that your bill has posted at multiple addresses. You may designate Authorized Users (parents/guardians) to help manage the bill paying process. See details in the Recommended Action section below.

FERPA FORM AVAILABLE: 6/1/17 - DUE: 6/26/17
Completing the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) form gives consent for staff to speak with parents or others regarding your student record. Without a signed FERPA Form, we cannot assist parents or other designated parties once you arrive at campus and are attending classes. Unless previously filed, print and complete the FERPA form by June 26, 2017 and mail the form to our office address listed above. champlain.edu/FERPA
AUTHORIZE USERS AVAILABLE: 6/1/17 - DUE: 6/26/17
You may authorize users to view and pay your bill online. Doing so insures authorized users will also receive an email when the semester bill is posted to your account. This also allows authorized users access to the 1098-T form for educational tax credits. If you have not already authorized users, go to champlain.edu/webadvisor and log in. Choose the “Students” menu. Under “Student Accounts,” choose “Student Statement & Payment.” Select the “Authorize Users” tab and enter the email address of the person you wish to authorize to access your account. Select “Yes” if you want this person to access your 1098-T tax form. Once authorized, the user will receive two emails: one with the TouchNet web link and one with a password.
ELECTRONIC REFUNDS SIGN UP BY: 9/1/17 - FIRST REFUNDS AVAILABLE: 9/15/17
Sign up for direct deposit for overpayments on your student account (i.e. from financial aid or return of the damage deposit). Please sign up by September 1, 2017. This is the fastest way to access these funds and you are notified by email when the refund is processed. If you have not already signed up, go to to champlain.edu/webadvisor and log in. Choose the “Students” menu. Under “e-Checks,” choose “Bank Information” (U.S. or Canadian) and fill in your bank routing and account numbers.
