Additional Information

  • Plans should be set up prior to the semester's due date to avoid late payment fees.
  • Payment plans are not required. They are just one method of payment students and their families can choose to cover their billable charges at Champlain College each semester.
  • Plan enrollment fees are non-refundable.
  • Students or their Authorized Users must enroll in the payment plan each semester. The plans do not roll over.
  • Payment plan enrollment can happen at any time, but enrolling after the bill due date may incur late payment fees.
  • Payment plans are administered by touchnet®. Monthly payments are scheduled by Electronic Check at no fee or by Debit/Credit Card for a 2.95% convenience fee. Paper checks are not accepted.
  • Payment plan installments will be adjusted as charges are added to your account and/or removed from your account. Notices about installment changes are emailed to the email address on file with your touchnet® account.
  • If you are using financial aid but have not completed Entrance Counseling, Master Promissory Notes, or passed Verification, the payment plan will not reduce your account balance by your federal aid. Once your federal aid is cleared to be disbursed to your account, your remaining payments will recalculate.
  • If you would like to pay a portion of your balance with a loan (for example, Parent Plus loan or private loan) and use a payment plan for the remaining balance, make sure you secure the loan first and then enroll in a payment plan.
  • If you would like to pay a portion of your balance upfront and use a payment plan for the remaining balance, make a payment on your account and then enroll in a payment plan.
  • Installments will automatically recalculate if there are any changes to your account balance.
