Champlain Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity Academy

July 12-25, 2020

Champlain College | Burlington, Vermont

As much as we wanted to host you on our campus this summer, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all of our Pre-College Summer Programs. The safety of our community is our highest priority and first responsibility and we continue to take guidance from local, state, and federal health authorities regarding our ability to welcome visitors to our campus. If you have already registered for this summer program, your program director will be in touch with you shortly about processing your full refund.

While we are disappointed that we won't be seeing you this summer, please feel free to fill out the form on this page and we'll keep you posted on dates for our Summer 2021 program. And, of course, should you have questions about our undergraduate academic offerings, please feel free to reach out directly to us. As always, we remain committed to helping students explore their passion and refine their skills as they prepare for their futures.

What is The DFCS Academy?

The DFCS Academy is a two-week-long, in-depth learning experience, where students who are excited to pursue a career in digital forensics and cybersecurity can learn, meet new friends, and live independently on the beautiful Champlain College campus.

What Do Students Do?

Students will get hands-on learning experience from veterans of the cybersecurity industry, covering a wide breadth of digital forensics and cybersecurity, from investigating digital crimes to constructing and safeguarding networks. DFCS academy students will also get to work together to solve real digital forensics problems faced by law enforcement agencies all over America.

Why Attend?

At the DFCS, students will be able to gain real, practical skills in cybersecurity. They will learn how to defend against cyberattacks, investigate digital crimes, and work both independently and as part of a team. The experience they gain here will prepare them for both college life and their future careers in cybersecurity. Apply soon, as space is limited!

How Do I Sign Up?

A $500 deposit will be due at time of registration. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact Joseph Williams at or 802-383-6661.
