DESCRIPTION:An elevator pitch is a brief\, persuasive speech that you use to spark interest in a project\, business idea\, favorite organization – or in yourself. A good elevator pitch should last no longer than a short elevator ride\, hence the name. At Champlain\, we’ve made it a competition. Students compete for cash prizes and bragging rights. Plus…participation in the E-Pitch looks great on a résumé and is a skill you’ll use over and over again. \nThe competition is open to all years and majors. Come up with your 90-second pitch message in one of these categories: \n• Job/Internship Seeker• Advocate• Entrepreneur (Business or Game) \nA volunteer coach can help you develop and polish your pitch. We have a great group of volunteers including faculty\, staff\, alumni\, employers\, and industry leaders who will help you prepare for your job\, internship\, grad school\, or law school interview. \nMock Interviews will be conducted virtually on Zoom on this date.
