DESCRIPTION:An elevator pitch is a brief\, persuasive speech that you use to spark interest in a project\, business idea\, favorite organization – or in yourself. A good elevator pitch should last no longer than a short elevator ride\, hence the name. At Champlain\, we’ve made it a competition. Students compete for cash prizes and bragging rights. Plus…participation in the E-Pitch looks great on a résumé and is a skill you’ll use over and over again. \nThe competition is open to all years and majors. Come up with your 90-second pitch message in one of these categories: \n• Job/Internship Seeker• Advocate• Entrepreneur (Business or Game) \nA volunteer coach can help you develop and polish your pitch.
