SUMMARY:19th Annual Elevator Pitch Competition: Registration is open!
DESCRIPTION:An elevator pitch is a brief\, persuasive speech that you use to spark interest in a project\, business idea\, favorite organization – or in yourself. A good elevator pitch should last no longer than a short elevator ride\, hence the name. At Champlain\, we’ve made it a competition. Students compete for cash prizes and bragging rights. Plus…participation in the E-Pitch looks great on a résumé and is a skill you’ll use over and over again. \nThe competition is open to all years and majors. Come up with your 90-second pitch message in one of these categories: \n• Job/Internship Seeker• Advocate• Entrepreneur (Business or Game) \nA volunteer coach can help you develop and polish your pitch. You can also attend an interactive Pitch Prep workshop to build confidence in delivering your message. \nYou must complete the official application form. \nThe deadline to register is January 16\, 2026. \nPrizes in each category:1st Place: $500 | 2nd Place: $300 | 3rd Place: $100 | Fan Favorite: $50 Gift Card \nParticipation fulfills InSight CAREERtalk milestone for first-years and juniors and InSight Self-pitch milestone for seniors. \n***This posting is only for prompting registration!
