Happy lights are now available across campus to help brighten your day—literally. \nWhat’s a Happy Light?\nA Happy light is a UV-free light therapy lamp that mimics sunlight. Consistent use can help combat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)\, and improve mood\, sleep\, and energy. Instructions for safe use are included with all happy lights on campus. \nWhere Can I Find Them?\nHappy lights are located in IDX Fireside Lounge\, and on the third\, second\, and ground floors of MIC (Library). DESCRIPTION:An elevator pitch is a brief\, persuasive speech that you use to spark interest in a project\, business idea\, favorite organization – or in yourself. A good elevator pitch should last no longer than a short elevator ride\, hence the name. At Champlain\, we’ve made it a competition. Students compete for cash prizes and bragging rights. Plus…participation in the E-Pitch looks great on a résumé and is a skill you’ll use over and over again. \nThe competition is open to all years and majors. Come up with your 90-second pitch message in one of these categories: \n• Job/Internship Seeker• Advocate• Entrepreneur (Business or Game) \nA volunteer coach can help you develop and polish your pitch.
