Happy lights are now available across campus to help brighten your day—literally. \nWhat’s a Happy Light?\nA Happy light is a UV-free light therapy lamp that mimics sunlight. Consistent use can help combat Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)\, and improve mood\, sleep\, and energy. Instructions for safe use are included with all happy lights on campus. \nWhere Can I Find Them?\nHappy lights are located in IDX Fireside Lounge\, and on the third\, second\, and ground floors of MIC (Library). Looking to use it in your own space? SUMMARY:19th Annual Elevator Pitch Competition (CAREERtalk)
DESCRIPTION:In Champlain’s spin on “Shark Tank\,” 18 of your peers compete for cash prizes and bragging rights in three categories during the 19th Annual Elevator Pitch Competition. The Finals will be hosted by Keith Oppenheim\, Associate Professor in the Division of Communication and Creative Media and former CNN Correspondent\, and scored by a panel of “celebrity” judges. Members of Champlain’s faculty and staff portray “The Suit” with whom students engage in the fictional elevator. Audience members vote for their favorite E-Pitcher in each category. \nThis event can be attended either in person or via livestream. The livestream link will be shared closer to the event date.
