DESCRIPTION:In Champlain’s spin on “Shark Tank\,” 18 of your peers compete for cash prizes and bragging rights in three categories during the 19th Annual Elevator Pitch Competition. The Finals will be hosted by Keith Oppenheim\, Associate Professor in the Division of Communication and Creative Media and former CNN Correspondent\, and scored by a panel of “celebrity” judges. Members of Champlain’s faculty and staff portray “The Suit” with whom students engage in the fictional elevator. Audience members vote for their favorite E-Pitcher in each category. \nThis event can be attended either in person or via livestream. The livestream link will be shared closer to the event date.

The workshop will explore the impact of eating disorders across different backgrounds and communities. We will also have a calming bracelet-making activity during the workshop. All Champlain community members are welcome to attend. \nEating disorders affect 30 million Americans in their lifetime. They impact EVERY BODY\, across all backgrounds and communities\, yet it often takes years for people to recognize and seek help.
