Consultants can attend just an occasional meeting or join in the conversation every month. This is a great opportunity to network\, build experience\, and pay it forward. \nFulfills InSight CAREERtalk milestone.

SUMMARY:The Dean's Cup: UVM Grossman School of Business
DESCRIPTION:The Dean’s Cup is the Grossman School of Business’ very own case competition. The GDC provides teams of 2 to 4 undergraduate students with all backgrounds and levels of experience the chance to apply their analytical skills outside the classroom\, practice their presentation skills\, and have fun! It’s also a great chance for underclassmen students to prepare for larger case competitions and bolster their resumes. This is a one-day event on Tuesday\, March 3rd\, 2026\, Vermont Town Meeting Day! \nWhat is a Case Competition? A case competition is an event where students collaborate to solve a real-world business problem. With a limited timeframe\, students must analyze the scenario\, come up with a solution\, and present their recommendation to a panel of judges. Case competitions are a great resume builder and experiential learning opportunity to supplement a business or liberal arts education. \nWe want YOU! \nWe are excited this year to expand our student-run case competition to include teams from universities within the region! That includes Champlain College! We ask that external teams have a faculty advisor who can help coordinate logistics to and from the competition. What we need is YOU –smart\, engaged students who want to expand their skills in presentation and problem-solving. Once you have selected your team\, please register here by February 1st. \nThe Dean’s Cup is FREE to participate in and is held on a single day. Not only is the Dean’s Cup up for grabs\, but students will also compete for $3\,000 in cash prizes!

SUMMARY:Kelley Marketing Group March Meeting: Virtual on Zoom (CAREERtalk)
DESCRIPTION:Champlain College students and faculty convene with area marketing professionals to share their knowledge\, experience\, and ideas on a pro-bono basis with a different Vermont nonprofit client each month. Our March client is Sail Beyond Cancer Vermont (https://www.sailbeyondcancer.org/vermont-chapter). You’ll gain some wonderful industry contacts and build relevant experience for your resume. Students will receive the client’s completed questionnaire a few days in advance of the meeting to have time to formulate ideas. Join virtually on Zoom. \nTopic: Kelley Marketing Group March MeetingTime: Mar 19\, 2026 11:30 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada)Join Zoom Meeting \nMeeting ID: 936 3008 0221Passcode: kmg \n— \nAbout Kelley Marketing Group: For over 40 years\, Kelley Marketing Group has met monthly to provide pro-bono marketing advice to nonprofit organizations so they may thrive and improve our community. The “consultants” who gather include just-starting-out and seasoned marketing professionals\, as well as faculty\, staff\, students\, and alumni of Champlain College and other area colleges melding the community with academia. The nonprofit client completes a questionnaire outlining the marketing topic about which they are seeking advice. Consultants get access to the questionnaire in advance of the meeting to get their creative juices flowing in anticipation of sharing out during the 90-minute session. Consultants can attend just an occasional meeting or join in the conversation every month. This is a great opportunity to network\, build experience\, and pay it forward. \nFulfills InSight CAREERtalk milestone.
