Commencement / Graduation

Commencement 2020 Will Now Be a Virtual Event on May 9th

We will be holding an in-person ceremony during the 20-21 academic year

We have made the difficult, but necessary, decision to hold a virtual commencement event that will take place on Saturday, May 9th. This is not a decision made lightly. The safety of our students, their loved ones, our faculty and staff must be our highest priority. We understand that commencement is a time of celebration, recognition and closure and our virtual ceremony will reflect these goals.

Graduating students and their families are invited and encouraged to share their ideas for virtual Commencement here.

We are also very committed to an in-person celebration in the coming year, as soon as we understand what will be possible in the context of the current public health crisis. Plans for that celebration will be shared in the months ahead. We look forward to the opportunity to gather on-campus in recognition of your accomplishments.
