Funding Your College Education
Federal Financial Aid
Financial aid is available in the form of loans for those who qualify, and are accepted and enrolled in a Champlain College Online degree program. Champlain College participates in the Federal Direct Loan program. This program enables students to borrow federal funds to help meet educational costs. (Note: Certificate programs are not eligible for federal financial aid.) Learn more about applying for financial aid.
In order to participate in an employer reimbursement plan, your employer must have a preapproved reimbursement arrangement with Champlain College. The employer reimbursement plan is processed through a secure Web-payment service as a type of installment plan for a fee of $35. Students are required to pay a deposit. For more information, or to submit a copy of your employer's tuition reimbursement plan for consideration, contact Compass Student Services at 802-860-2777 or email email@example.com.
Military service members and veterans can obtain a wide array of financial aid as well as military benefits from Champlain College Online. Champlain offers many financial aid options, credit transfer for service members and fields of study relevant to members of the Armed Forces. Learn more about military benefits.
If you have an arrangement with your employer to have your employer pay for your education, you will need to provide a signed authorization form from your supervisor giving us permission to bill them directly. Payment will be due within 30 days of billing. An employer billing form can be found here.
Self-Pay: Installment Payments
You may choose to pay for your education in installments. To set up installment payments, there is a $35 fee. Installment payments may be made through a secure online payment option that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Payment may be made using electronic checking or savings account payments or using American Express, Discover, Visa, or MasterCard credit cards. There will be a service fee of 2.85% charged when using a credit or debit card but there is no fee for electronic check or savings payments. Current students can enroll by logging in to WebAdvisor and clicking on "Students." You'll then need to select your payment option under "Student Accounts."
Self-Pay: Pay in Full
Should you choose to pay for your education in full, you may do so with a money order or through an Electronic Bank Transfer from your checking or savings account. Additionally, we accept American Express, Discover, Visa, or MasterCard. As with the Installment Payments option, there is a service fee of 2.85% charged when using a credit or debit card, but there is no fee for electronic bank transactions. Current students may make an online payment in full by logging in to WebAdvisor and clicking on "Students." You'll then need to select your payment option under "Student Accounts."
