Online Accounting Courses

At Champlain College, we design our online programs for working adults, with the goal of delivering focused and relevant knowledge that can be applied to the workplace from day one. Our B.S. in Accounting curriculum is composed of both accounting-focused classes and general education classes, to help you gain a broad foundation of applicable skills and become a well-rounded accounting professional.

Students can expect to take classes in a range of subjects. Accounting classes online cover topics such as different forms and levels of accounting, business law, federal taxes, internet security, accounting information systems, finance, auditing, management, and more. Students will also have the opportunity to specialize their degree through an accounting certificate in an area of concentration, and will also be required to complete a general education requirement, consisting of foundational classes in critical reading, writing, communication, economics, professional ethics, and more.

Most classes are delivered in an accelerated 7-week format (select courses are 15 weeks long).
