What is the DFCS Academy all about?

First and foremost, the program is about giving students an idea of what it would be like to attend a college with a world-class cybersecurity program, so they can decide if that experience would be right for them.

What should I expect from this program?

Expect to spend two weeks learning the techniques and technology used on the cutting edge of cybersecurity, as well as making new friends and connections in a college setting.

Who would be a good fit for this academy?

This academy is perfect for students who want to get a taste for the rigor of college coursework that encompases experience-based learning while exploring one of the coolest new industries.

What will I gain from the academy?

A unique experience of studying and socializing in a college setting before high school graduation; the ability to work with educators and technology at the forefront of cybersecurity; and serious credentials to add to your college application. The benefits of attending this academy are truly invaluable.

What sort of hardware do I need to take part in the Academy virtually?"

In order to participate in our virtual program all students will need the following hardware:

  • High-speed internet connection (25Mbps downstream and 5Mbps upstream)
  • Either a Windows PC or a Mac
  • Webcam
  • Microphone

What is the price of the academy?

The Registration fee for the virtual 2021 Academy is $2,700: this includes instruction and all activities. A non-refundable deposit of $350 is due at the time of registration. Payments are made online. Once you submit the registration form, you will be prompted to submit your deposit online.
