On Stage Community
Champlain has an eclectic mix of performing artists, actors, comedians and personalities. Faculty and students collaborate on a wide range of projects, from theatre to radio shows, to present a dynamic and diverse range of performance events. There is a stage for every genre of performance in our community; find your place to shine.
- Love open mics? The Grind Coffee House is your place to see or perform music, comedy, poetry—whatever you like!
- Put your comedy chops to the test with our on-campus improv comedy troupe, Los Dormant Volcanoes.
- Do you have a passion for A Capella? Why not audition for Purposeful Dissonance and make your voice heard!
- Want to have your own radio show? Champlain Wave, our student-run web radio station lets you do just that.
- For writers and poets, there's the Champlain All-Star Reading Series.
- Enjoy "flash" lectures on topics that might not normally come up in the classroom with Champlain's Blue Stool Project.
- Interested in dancing and performing? Try joining Champlain's Dance Team.
If you're trying to perform your passion, but can't find a group or club, the Student Government Association can help you start it yourself.
