Purposeful Dissonance is Champlain College's A Capella group. Students of all majors and grades may audition for the group, which regularly performs at on-campus functions, including faculty and student recognition events, and the Student Activities Fair. Purposeful Dissonance competed in and placed fourth nationally in the International Championship of Collegiate A Capella (like a real-life Pitch Perfect!) in 2019. They will also be working with the Special Collections in the Miller Information Commons and Vermont Public Radio (VPR) to bring historical Vermont sheet music back to life. A single from Purposeful Dissonance is also on the horizon, so keep your eyes and ears peeled!
