Meet Bob Green, MA
Bob Green, MA, is Assistant Dean for Information Technology in the Division of Continuing and Professional Studies (CPS). He oversees online academic programs and ensures high-quality faculty and student support services for degree and certificate programs, including: Computer & Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Software Development, Web Design & Development, Computer Forensics & Digital Investigations, and Cybersecurity. Bob is responsible for the initiation, implementation, control, evaluation and revision of a broad range of online courses, programs and instructional techniques for adult learners.
Bob began his career at Champlain College in 1999 as Coordinator for the Web Development and Management program. Following that he held the position of Instructional Designer in the eLearning Department where he worked with faculty to design and enhance online courses and help them make use of online instructional technologies. Before coming to Champlain College, Bob worked for Vermont Technical College as the Development Team Leader at the IBM Burlington Center of Learning. There he worked with a team of education specialists to analyze training needs and deliver appropriate education solutions that would meet the goals of the corporation. Bob holds an MA in College Teaching from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and a BS from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell.
