Office of Academic Affairs

The Office of the Provost & Academic Affairs supports and advances the mission, strategic goals, and values of the College, preparing students to excel through radically pragmatic career-focused education.

The Academic Affairs staff directly supports the Provost and Chief Academic Officer in working with the College’s senior academic administrators, Division Deans, and the Faculty Senate in guiding institutional strategy and operational structures, in addition to sharing governance over curriculum, instruction, program review, and assessment.

The Office supports the administration of the College’s policies, practices, and procedures to ensure an exemplary portfolio of educational programs that are academically robust, and professionally relevant for all students.

In addition to institutional research and accreditation oversight, the Office is responsible for providing critical resources for the retention and continuous development of students, faculty, and staff in upholding the values of Champlain College: Innovation, Engaged Learning, Human Touch, Practicality, Interconnectedness, and Integrity.
