Mental health clinics, schools, human service agencies, private practices—through a variety of institutions, social workers devote their lives to helping people solve and cope with daily life problems.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of social workers is expected to increase by 16% between 2016 and 2026, which is faster than the average for all other occupations. Job prospects for social workers will vary by speciality, but all fields will be higher than the national average.

Through Champlain's accreditation by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), students may apply to be considered for admission to an MSW program to earn a master's degree in one year instead of two. If accepted, students would save a year of tuition costs and get a head start on a career with a higher-level skill set.
