Facts about food insecurity on college campuses:
About one half of students on four year campuses experience food insecurity.
Food insecurity is strongly linked to lower graduation rates.
Food insecurity is often tied to other forms of insecurity like housing insecurity, which includes issues paying rent and bills.
Food insecurity is experienced by almost a third of students attending four year institutions. It is connected with a variety of academic concerns, most of all graduation rates. In order for our students to succeed, graduate, and focus on their college experience, a food pantry was created to ease the hunger and insecurity that so many college students experience.

Link to this FAQOne of the most common obstacles to student success is financial insecurity. Students facing unanticipated financial hardships that impact their educational experience and cannot be met through Financial Aid are encouraged to submit an application to the Emergency Angel Fund. Once received, the Student Resources Coordinator will work with the student to identify potential resources including micro-grants, book rentals, and emergency funds.
