Hours
We are open Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. during the academic year.
After-Hours/Emergency Consultation and Intervention
If you are in a life-threatening situation, please call 911 or go directly to the Emergency Department of the nearest hospital.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis (non life-threatening) and need to speak to someone immediately, please call the on-call counselor at (802) 865-5745 or Campus Public Safety at (802) 865-6465. Counselors are also available for same day appointments during regular business hours.

New to Counseling
If you have never used our services before, please log in to the Student Health Portal (using your Champlain e-mail credentials) and request an appointment.
Existing Clients
If you have used our services before and would like to schedule an appointment with someone you have previously met with, you can contact the clinician directly via email or make a note of the clinician you would like to meet with when requesting an appointment via the Student Health Portal. If you would like to meet with someone new please log in to the Student Health Portal and request an appointment.

Fees
There is no fee to use the Counseling Center. The Counseling Center is available to all degree-seeking students.
