Don’t just survive college, LIVE WELL

Let’s get real. Transitioning to college is exciting, but it can also be a little crazy. In fact, it should be! You’re here to do big, new things and sometimes, those things are hard.

Over the next four years, you’ll face challenges. Life after college will be tough at times, too. But you are not alone. Champlain has thought long and hard about helping you live well through it all.

Student Health Center

Our Student Health Center provides personal health care as well as health education and wellness both on a one-to-one basis and through campus-wide programming.

Wellness & Fitness Center

Champlain College has a state of the art Fitness Center located in the IDX Student Life Center. We pride ourselves in keeping our Fitness Center clean, current and fun, and we welcome the beginner, intermediate and advanced-level individual.

Athletics & Recreation

Are team sports your thing? We have a wide range of intramural sports and clubs from dance to dodgeball. Whatever your athletic interests are, you’ll have no trouble finding people to team up with, have fun, and stay fit.

Take care of yourself. You can’t do good work if you’re not tending to your needs and your wellbeing, which should be your highest priority.

Mental & Social Wellbeing

Counseling Center

The highly trained professionals in our Counseling Center are here to support you. We offer a variety of services including individual and group counseling, outreach and education, consultations, and 20-minute “Let’s Talk” appointments.

Affinity & Social Support Groups

Here, community is built by uplifting and empowering every student. Our affinity and social groups provide supportive environments to come together to reflect on experiences, get support and resources, and have meaningful conversations.

Clubs & Activities

Join a student publication, get involved in leadership and community service, check out political or social clubs — the opportunities to meet new people and try new things are numerous. Can’t find something? We’ll work with you to create it.
