Payment Plans

Champlain College offers payment plan options to full-time and part-time students. Please read the terms of these plans carefully before choosing one.

Students receiving financial aid are responsible for paying the portion not covered by pending aid according to the payment plan elected.

Full-time Traditional Student Payment Plans

These payment plans are available to students who are enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester.

Options are available for full-time traditional students through NelNet Campus Commerce / TMS.

NelNet Campus Commerce / TMS

Champlain College offers a monthly payment plan for full-time students to budget annual tuition, room and board, and other fees. Please visit

  • Students may enroll in an 8 or 10 month plan.
  • The 10 month plan begins in May and the 8 month plan begins in July. Both plans will end in February.
  • There is an enrollment fee of $65 for the full-year plan.
  • Payments made toward a payment plan are refundable should a student become eligible for a refund.
  • Students who are planning on taking courses in the Fall semester only may enroll in a 4 month plan (July 15-October 15). There is an enrollment fee of $45 for the Fall-only plan.
  • This plan is administered by NelNet Campus Commerce / TMS. Monthly payments are scheduled by ACH or Credit Card. Paper Checks are not accepted.

Students receive an online billing statement each semester from the College, which will show the TMS payment plan credited to each semester. If there is a remaining balance due on the billing statement, the TMS budget may be adjusted to resolve this balance to avoid a late payment fee.

Online Student Payment Plans

Payment plans are available to our online, graduate and summer students.

  • Plan options are viewable in TouchNet, which is accessed through WebAdvisor.
  • Students may enroll in an online payment plan with an enrollment fee of $35.

After logging in to WebAdvisor, click on "Student." Under the "Student Accounts" heading, click "Student Statement & Payment," and then "Click Here to Continue" to locate your online billing statement. To view payment plans that may be available to you, please click on the menu header "Payment Plans." If you are eligible for a payment plan, your enrollment options will appear on the following page.
