Who We Are

Since opening in 2010, The Leahy Center has become the central hub of digital forensics and cybersecurity at Champlain College. It's a world-class laboratory with state-of-the-art technology, providing digital forensics and cybersecurity services to a wide variety of organizations, from government bodies to local businesses.

What We Do

The mission of The Leahy Center is to serve as a practical and hands-on laboratory environment, promoting the advancement of digital forensics & cybersecurity education at Champlain College and in our community. Most importantly, the Leahy Center is a place for the next generation of specialists and engineers to learn, grow, and hone their talents.

How We Do It

Through innovative research projects and outreach initiatives The Leahy Center provides communities (local, state, and national) information resources for digital investigation/cybercrimes, a credible and neutral source of information resource, and acts as a professional development hub for Champlain College students, faculty, and staff.

Why We Do It

To be an integral part of the learning experience for many Champlain College students. To provide an active learning environment for Champlain College students and teach them the skills they will need in the workplace. To open the door for students to learn by doing. To provide students with an active learning environment where they can learn through experience.
