Senator Patrick Leahy Center for Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity
Since opening in 2010, The Leahy Center for Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity has become the central hub of digital forensics and cybersecurity at Champlain College. It's a world-class laboratory with state-of-the-art technology, providing digital forensics and cybersecurity services to a wide variety of organizations, from government bodies to local businesses.
The Leahy Center serves as a practical and hands-on experience for both undergraduate and graduate students to practice their incredible talents at the forefront of digital forensics and cybersecurity and currently is the largest student employer on campus. Most importantly, it is a place for the next generation of specialists and engineers to learn, grow, and hone their talents.
The Leahy Center acts as:
- a center of education, training, and information resources for digital investigation, law enforcement, government, and higher education communities;
- a credible and neutral source of information and services for Vermont and the Northeast region of the United States; and
- a research and professional development hub for Champlain College students and faculty.
