Academic Divisions

Bringing Academics to Life

Where rigorous academics meet a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Champlain College is made up of six academic divisions organized under the Office of Academic Affairs and led by Dr. Monique Taylor, Provost & Chief Academic Officer. In each division, you'll find a commitment to academic excellence and a focus on professional expertise, critical thinking, collaboration, and hands-on learning. Great teaching and mentorship through career preparation is a powerful combination that benefits our students and empowers our graduates when they launch their careers.

Most importantly, Champlain's approach works. Career outcomes are a key way to measure success, and Champlain's are outstanding: 91% of the Class of 2019 are employed or continuing their education just six months after graduating. Our students' résumés are packed with experience and proven skills in their chosen fields. Nine out of ten students complete an experiential learning opportunity—including internships, field experience, or freelance projects—before they graduate.

In each division, you'll find a low student-to-faculty ratio and a dedication to innovation, sustainability, inclusivity, and interconnectedness.
